As a Speech-Language Pathologist and mom of a PDA child, I offer a unique and individualized perspective on parenting a PDAer. My experience working in an environment with high school learners with a variety of speech and language needs and raising an autistic/PDA daughter has shown me how to be a better mom and SLP.

As a parent, educator, therapist, etc...have you ever felt like you don't know what to do anymore? Do you feel like you have tried everything and nothing is working? Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you feel judged or criticized for your parenting decisions? PDA can be difficult to understand and requires a lot of calmness, connection, and PATIENCE – let me help you make it feel less complicated.

My services are donation based. My only goal is to spread PDA awareness and to help others use patient parenting approaches to help support diverse learners, including PDAers. If you are interested in my services, I ask that you consider making a donation to PDA North America.

(PDA North America is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that exists to drive awareness of Pathological Demand Avoidance, a subtype of Autism, and create supports for PDA people, supports for families of PDA people and professionals working with PDA people).

There is also an option to buy me a cup of coffee or donate to Patiently Parenting to help me continue to fund my website and to cover travel expenses for presentations, etc...; however, there is no obligation to do so!
