About Patiently Parenting

Advocating for PDA Awareness

At Patiently Parenting, we believe that every child (and caregiver) deserves patience and support – a connection that allows for flexibility, creativity, stability, autonomy, and patience, regardless of how life decides to challenge us. Working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with neurodivergent learners for over 20 years, it was not until my own daughter was diagnosed with unique learning strengths and challenges, that I truly understood what it meant to parent a child who learns differently. We know that supporting someone with unique needs can be challenging, and our goal is to build connections, understanding, and support not only for our children but for ourselves and other caregivers as well.
